This brown ink is very lovely in its simplicity. It's a dark, warm shade similar to coffee or chocolate, and is very legible. There isn't sheen when writing, but when swatching with large amounts of ink on Tomoe River paper, a slight dark brown sheen can develop. A wonderful warm ink for the colder months.
