Really pretty shimmer

I thought this would be too much like queen and castle but the color is definitely a darker swampy green which I love with the sparkle.

Although- I wish it comes with instructions on how to fill it.

But! It actually so simple to fill up- just use a wine screw popper to get the wick out.

It's good I'm not a Gryffindor because I might be mad they got my house color so dark and moody... That's for Slytherin! This feels reeeally close to Ambrosia Indulgence actually, but slightly more red, and the shimmer is less prominent. If anything is really scarlet, it's the Sorcerer's Stone.

Magical Pen!

I was so happy to get this wonderful Harry Potter Ravenclaw pen. As a true Potterhead it is amazing to add this to my HP collection.

The lacquer finish is a stunning blue with amazing depths. There are wonderful details in the pen design; from the quote on the band which translates to “Never tickle a sleeping dragon” to the engraved nib and section showcasing the wise Raven of Ravenclaw.

Perhaps the best part of the pen is how smoothly it writes. It give a lovely fine line that showcases the Ravenclaw ink perfectly.

I look forward to using it for many years to come.

Lionheart Script: Gryffindor Scarlet in Action

This Gryffindor ink is a bold scarlet red with warm undertones and a fine gold shimmer that gives it a lively, almost glowing finish. The color is strong and unmistakable on the page, leaning more classic red than crimson, with enough depth to avoid looking flat.

Flow has been smooth and consistent in the pens I tested. In fine nibs, the red stays clean and readable, though the shimmer is more subtle. Medium and broad nibs bring out the gold nicely without overwhelming the base color. The shimmer settles evenly with a gentle roll of the bottle and caused no clogging issues during use.

Dry time is slightly longer than standard reds, which is expected with shimmer inks, but still reasonable on fountain-pen-friendly paper. I didn’t notice feathering, and bleed-through was minimal. Cleanup took a bit more flushing than non-shimmer inks, but nothing out of the ordinary.

This is not an everyday office ink, but it shines for journaling, titles, letters, and special projects where you want impact. If you enjoy red inks with character and don’t mind a bit of sparkle, this Gryffindor scarlet delivers a confident, energetic writing experience.

I know just what to do with you!

I was so excited to see that FWP was doing a collaboration with the Wizarding World. I spent a long time trying to decide which colors to choose for my ink collection. Ultimately I went with the Sorting Hat because it's a color that is quite different from what I already have.

As always, the packaging is lovely. The box has a motif of the Sorting Hat repeated with the House Crests. The window of the box puts the bottle and it's metal cap on display. There's a lovely foiled quotation: "But where to put you?" on a few parts of the image.

Once removing the bottle, the weight is immediately noticeable. The cap is beautifully detailed and it includes the Hogwarts motto "draco dormiens nunquam titillandus" (Never Tickle a Sleeping Dragon). The sticker on the bottle says Property of Hogwarts, but the center is the HP lightning bolt logo. I would have preferred the school crest instead of the brand image.

I loaded the ink into my FWP Brush pen. The color feels like a mixture of Beaver Dam Brown and Goose Poupon. It has a nice tonal quality, warm and soft. The sparkle is really attractive! The purple/magenta really adds contrast and pop to the color. Once I did some test writing, the sparkle evened into the flow and each letter has a little shine. I'm so happy that I chose this color! Mischief Managed!

Magical!

I purchased the entire Hogwarts collection (pens and inks) for each house. This is the first time I've bought the Joule fountain pens from Ferris Wheel Press. I'd been waiting for the Hogwarts collection to come out, and I am so glad that I waited. The pens are beautiful. The yellow Hufflepuff house has got this really great sparkly sheen to it, and they all write like a dream. They are the nicest pens I've ever written with, so I highly recommend them.

Beautiful and well made

This company makes some really fine products. Everything I have bought is top notch and high end. This Gryffindor ink is beautiful and I wish you could see the gold shimmer as it is gorgeous. The finial on the top, the lion with the sword, is detailed and feels really well made. I got 7 different Hogwarts inks with different finials and they are all beautiful. The bottle is heavy glass and feels classy. I can't wait to see what they do next!

Love the set, beautiful color

Overall I am very much loving this set, my only reason for the 4 stars over 5 is that it was not easy to get the wick out of the pen to fill it. It didn’t just fall out of the pen as in the video and I was worried about damaging it while finding a way to remove it. After I figured that out it work wonderfully and the ink it beautiful
