A new favorite purple ink

This shade of purple is just a touch lighter than Diamine' Purple Dream, and a swatch revealed that it's also a bit less saturated. The effect looks like a melted grape popsicle. Because it's less saturated, it will be more obviously purple coming out of a fine or extra fine nib, whereas the Diamine looks like an off-black.

Based on usage with a glass dip pen, it's a very wet ink, pooling down at the tip and attacking the paper at the first touch.

A nice, rich purple

If you're looking for a pinky/purple this grape ice pop isn't for you. This ink has the deeper reds of a grape, a very good storytelling purple. I happen to love it.

Pretty, but not what I expected

The website makes this ink look like it will be a pretty, vibrant burgundy, but it's more of a muted, plum color. Definitely minimal pink tones. It is pretty, and I am actively using it, but it is a little drab. I probably wouldn't purchase again because I prefer more vibrant inks with a bit more character.
