As always I'm so pleased with my FWP order. These colors looked so scrumptious on the screen I had to have them ... these three are lighter shades, but saturated; they're very fluid and work well with a brush and dip pens. Maybe a little light for the finer dip pen, better with a medium point. These will be superb for art and as calligraphic highlights; I'm not sure I'd use them to write an expanse of text - I'd prefer a darker shade for that.

These inks remind me of a summer sky and hibiscus flowers. The collection is called “Dreaming in California,” but it could also easily be Hawaii or Miami. Nicely shading but the Blue Yosemite Falls and Golden Gate Glow were a bit pale for my taste. I love the little charger bottles, but I do have a little bit of an issue feeling secure that the lids are screwing on properly because they sit a little caddywompus.
