This story begins with a shared passion for celebrating our homes and heritage. Ferris Wheel Press proudly partners with Shangri-La Hotels in Canada to bring to life a Curious Collaboration inspired by the tale of the mythical Shangri-La from James Hilton’s 1933 novel, Lost Horizon.
We have woven together fantastical vignettes capturing iconic monuments, wildlife and landscapes from Toronto and Vancouver. Discover snow-capped Rocky Mountains that sit nestled amongst cherry blossoms and magnolias in full bloom. Blue jays and Anna’s hummingbirds flutter through the branches, from flower to flower. Keep an eye open for the magnificent orcas as they swim through misty clouds, weaving through petals and masterfully-crafted wooden screens.
