I put this in an extra fine nib and the green tones were really difficult to see. They came out a lot when I was cleaning out the pen though. I think it needs a thicker line to really shine. There's nothing faulty about the ink itself.

Writing desk ink

Beautiful ink…very unique in its’ tone. Love the way it dries to reveal the subtle hint of green. Very nicely surprised by this brown ink!

Not just brown

You might think “boring” when you think of brown. I know that’s how I feel about my eyes. But, if my eyes were THIS shade of brown I would be so much happier! Writing Desk has almost an amber feel to it that makes it pop on the page but in a non-obnoxious way. This will be on rotation as one of my everyday inks.
