Elegant and versatile!

A beautiful and elegant sketchbook with rattan cover in midnight blue. Its elegance and functionality surprised me. It is created with high quality 160gsm FSC certified paper, bleeding and feathering resistant. I used it with pencil, crayons, fountain pens and pastels. I was able to combine those techniques and it is great to travel around

Goodbye Moleskine, Hello Ferris Wheel Press

I'll start by saying that I love drawing with inks and markers. I decided to give these a try after watching kaiteki ART using these sketchbooks and inks with her glass pen, and I've been hooked ever since.

My go-to sketchbooks were Moleskine, but my main gripe with them is that using markers can result in splotchy-looking colors, ruining what would otherwise be a perfectly good drawing. That has not been my experience with the Sketchbook A5.

The page count, the thickness of the paper, the way it handles pencil, ink, and markers... it's like a dream. It's easy to work with this paper, and each style of Sketchbook A5 looks classy. I cannot imagine traveling with any other sketchbooks at this point. Ferris Wheel Press knocked it out of the park with this one!

Great, quality paper and a lay-flat binding. The book has a nice heft and there is also a pocket in the back, which I always love for collecting small clippings for collage. I can't wait to use the book with my new ink!
