Instructions

Changing Nibs

  • Unscrew to remove the barrel from the grip section and remove the converter.
  • While holding the grip, use a cloth/tissue to unscrew the nib and housing unit.
  • Twist your new choice of nib into the grip to reassemble, and plug the converter back into the housing on the opposite end; reassemble the barrel.
  • Note: Although the grip is threaded for Jowo nib housing, we cannot guarantee the fit of all your individual nibs. Rest assured, we promise their compatibility with all Ferris Wheel Press No. 6 sized nibs and the Adventurers Nib Collection.

Filling/Changing Ink Colours:

  • Unscrew to remove the barrel from the grip section and access the converter.
  • Place the fountain pen nib fully into warm water. Flush the nib by twisting/untwisting the converter until the water runs clear.
  • Allow nib to and converter to fully dry.
  • Fill a new colour by fully submerging the nib and feeder into the ink, then draw the ink into your pen but twisting the converter until you’ve reached the top position.


Notes:

  • For heavily saturated inks and darker tones, or clogged nibs, you may need to soak the grip/feeder in water overnight
  • It is normal for some air bubbles to enter the converter when refilling ink

Absolutely Beautiful Superman Memorabilia for ANY Collector.

It's a plane, it's a bird, it's...the Superman collaboration I didn't know I needed!
This pen is beautiful, and it's the first time I've ever purchased from this company. While I have heard many wonderful things, nothing has truly pushed me to buy it until now. From the very first moment I saw the pen, I knew I needed to add it.

Not only is the writing smooth, but the shimmering from the ink is unparalleled. It glides very smoothly, and I know that it's something that will be built to last. At the high $250 price tag, I know it may seem expensive, but there's a reason for it. I dare say that it writes better than any other fountain pen I have owned over the years.

However, there is ONE thing about this pen that bothers me. It's something that another reviewer has already started, but the pen nib's imprint of the iconic "S" does not align with the section, despite what the image shows. I will discuss this further with the company to determine if there is a fault with this batch, as it appears to be a false advertisement, which is bothering me somewhat. Other than that, I have already purchased the red one as well and would be more than happy to consider getting the light blue to add to my collection.

Everything looks great except for the misaligned design on the nib

The pen looks phenomenal, and you can tell the quality is superior. But I was dismayed to notice that the logos on the nib are askew in relation to the pen: In the picture on the website, part of the globe lines up with the Superman logo on the nib. On mine, the Superman logo on the nib is aligned with a blank space in the section between the globe and the Superman logo—not quite aligned with the logo nor with the globe (pics attached of the site and the product I received).

What brings down this review to two stars is that I reached out to customer service to see how best to work through the issue on 26 June. It's been five full business days since then. Yet no response. Quite disappointing.

Note that I'm not one to write reviews, but after my simple query has gone unanswered, I had no choice. I understand things happen, which in turn push other things beyond our control. But the fact that FWP states to allow up to three business days for a response but I have yet to receive something is quite disappointing. At the end of the day, I love the pen, so I don't want to return it. I just want something that is either a) as advertised, or if not, b) to have had a clear description along the lines that design arrangements vary by pen.
