Care Instructions

Filling/Changing Ink Colours:

  • Unscrew to remove the barrel from the grip section and access the converter.
  • Place the fountain pen nib fully into warm water. Flush the nib by twisting/untwisting the converter until the water runs clear.
  • Allow 1 day to dry.
  • Fill a new colour by fully submerging the nib and feeder into the ink, then draw the ink into your pen but twisting the converter until you’ve reached the top position.


Notes:

  • For heavily saturated inks and darker tones, or clogged nibs, you may need to soak the grip/feeder in water overnight
  • It is normal for some air bubbles to enter the converter when refilling ink

Beautiful and Magical

When I first saw the packaging on this pen, my eyes widened and I spent quite a bit of time looking at all the detail. I thought I was in for a treat if the item inside was crafted with as much care and detail as the exterior. And it was! This smooth feeling, brilliant pink pen has wonderful weight in all the right places. There was a very slight learning curve in loading the ink since this was the first time I was using a true fountain pen, but it was very simple and quite easy to master after justthe first try. The detail on the nib is exquisite and the fine etching along the shift are just another detail that make me smile when I use this pen. It truly is a prize and worth my purchase. I feel like I have been swept into another time every time I write and the ink is smoothly transferred to the paper.

Something not quite right

The pen arrived with the plastic that holds the ink (sorry I don’t know the correct word for it.) not connected in any way to the pen. I jammed it in but it kept falling off. Being new to all this I wasn’t sure what was wrong. Me or the pen. It finally stuck and I filled it but I am not sure how secure it is. I emailed support but never received any follow up. I just needed to know if this was normal or something was wrong. Otherwise the pen seems nice and writes well. But I dread opening it back up to refill
