Breathtaking!

A blue reminiscent of a peacock's feathers.

Wanted to love it as a blue

It reminds me of one my favourite inks: Nitrogen. Only without the annoying "takes five million years to dry" issue. It sheens so well, especially on well sized paper like Tomoe River.

However... it, to me at least, writes way more black than it does blue. Which is frustrating because it photographs so blue yet in person the lettering looks black.

For ink wash though... again, FWP inadvertently makes great painting inks. Which is honestly one of the main reasons I collect them. Not just for journaling and pen pal letters but for painting as well. For that purpose, absolutely five stars. For a "bluebell" writing ink, while pretty, it isn't as blue as I was hoping.

So Bluetiful

This ink is a rich blue that on its own is great. And it’s buildable as well blends nicely with other inks. I as like the color shift as well as gives a nice sheen when dried.
