Affordable But Better Options Out There

This is a good starter fountain pen but I feel there are better fountain pens out there than this one, especially in the same price range/bracket. You can easily tell it is made out of cheap plastic, at least the pen itself. The nib is of good quality although I wish the ink flowed more easily.
I don't care for the way it writes... It feels too scratchy and not smooth like other fountain pens. Unfortunately this one won't be part of my daily writing routine. It is a good gift for someone new to writing with fountain pens.

Writes like a dream

I was quite excited to get my new fountain pen and inks and they do not disappoint when writing. My only concern (and the reason for only 4 stars) is that the converter doesn't fit tightly to the inside of the nib, and I have had ink leakage once. Now I just check it every so often to make sure it hasn't slipped off and am mindful not to carry it in a pocket. Otherwise, it writes so smoothly, I will never go back to a disposable pen!

Great nib, poor quality

I love the way this pen writes, it's light and ink flows easily, even with glittery ink. However the barrel of the pen slips off of the screw into the nib frequently, which is either annoying or stains my fingers with ink, and the barrel cracked within a week of using. I wish I could recommend it, but the plastic just seems too fragile to withstand much time or use
